Clubhouse
The Santo da Serra Golf Club offers its players various facilities.
The breathtaking sea views provided by the restaurant and bar have left guests awe-struck. “Un Clubhouse muy bonito” was how Severiano Ballesteros described it when he participated in the Madeira Open in 2001 and 2002.
The Clubhouse is much more than just a beautiful view; it is also a welcoming environment. One can easily be enchanted by the opulence of the Clubhouse’s decor, which features an elegant room with fireplaces, comfortable seating areas, reading zones, an LCD TV area, and a games area with a snooker table, card table, checkers table, and Wi-Fi access.
The outdoor space (terrace) is particularly noteworthy as it is ideal for relaxing and enjoying Madeira’s climate before, during, or even after a round.
In addition to the restaurant and bar, the CGSS has a very comprehensive practice area with excellent training facilities that include:
- Two putting-greens
- A chipping-green
- Bunker
- Driving range (with three positions, one of which is covered)
- Our Peter Mitchell Golf Academy ( which offers professional golf instruction at the highest level).
The CGSS also features a top-tier Pro Shop, recognized as one of the best in Portugal. The Pro Shop offers an extensive range of golf apparel and equipment from leading brands, including Galvin Green, Lyle & Scott, Footjoy, Callaway, Titleist, Taylormade, Adidas, and Golfino, among others.
Additionally, the Pro Shop provides rental services for golf clubs, buggies, and trolleys, ensuring players have everything they need for an exceptional golfing experience.
